Exodus is a fantastic add-on on Kodi. This article shows you how to install Exodus on Kodi. You can use the three methods to install Exodus on your Kodi. If you wish to access an option on your system, outside of Kodi but without having to exit it. Just press the Windows key and you are good. Some helpful Kodi keyboard shortcuts for Mac users. ⌘ Cmd+Q to quit ⌘ Cmd+H and ⌘ Cmd+M to hide/minimize to the dock ⌘ Cmd+F to toggle fullscreen ⌘ Cmd+S to take a screen shot. For years, Exodus was one of the top-used add-ons by Kodi die-hards. Originally created by famed Kodi developer TVAddons, Exodus was a platform in which you could watch your favorite movies, TV shows, and more from within Kodi. Although undoubtedly a piracy application, TVAddons and Exodus were beloved around the world for their ease of access and the incredible flexibility of the platform. That said, not everyone was a fan of TVAddons. The actual development team working on the Kodi platform disavowed Exodus, in addition to other programs and platforms, and its development team as an app solely made for piracy. Still, the app continued to be used by millions of people around the world, until finally, in June of 2017, TVAddons, the Fusion repo, and Exodus were all shut down and disabled. Also see our article So, if you were a recent Exodus user but you’ve been seeing issues and error messages alerting you that there’s “No Stream Available,” it’s because Exodus is effectively dead. While there used to be a dozen or more ways to bring Exodus back, unfortunately this summer seemed to be the last we’ll see of the Exodus team. Even when TVAddons and Fusion came back at the end of July, the developer seemed to be taking the platform in a new direction, ignoring the past of Exodus and leaving the program behind to bite the dust. For a while, it seemed like Kodi fans were without hope, though as we’ve seen before with dead platforms like Phoenix, something always rises from the ashes left behind. Enter Covenant, the new kid on the block when it comes to streaming. Covenant acts, works, and even looks exactly like Exodus, making it an easy transition for fans of the original Exodus plugin. While it may seem a bit inconvenient to set up a new streaming service inside Kodi, if you’ve grown tired of experiencing error messages and miss being able to stream your favorite content through Kodi, it’s a must for your entertainment suite. Like any Kodi addon, you’ll need a new repository to install Covenant, since it’s through a different platform than Exodus. Here’s how to install Covenant through Kodi for unlimited entertainment possibilities. ![]() Let’s take a look. Installing Covenant Whether it’s been two months or two years since you installed Exodus, you probably remember having to install an app repository to download the platform to Kodi. App repositories (or repos) inside of Kodi work like an app store on your phone. It’s a way to add more content to your device, including apps like Exodus and Covenant, and make it easy to stream content online without having to rely on official means through apps like Netflix. There are a ton of unofficial third-party apps made for Kodi, leading many users to add a dozen or more repositories onto their devices at any given time. Well, we’ll be installing another one onto your device today. In order to install Covenant, we’ll need the Kodisrael repository to add the application to your device. Thanks to the rising popularity of Covenant, the add-on is routinely added to repositories that allow numerous applications within their listings that have been removed elsewhere due to copyright strikes, and Kodisrael is no exception. Adding Kodisrael or any other Covenant-friendly repositories to Kodi is just like any other repository—you’ll need the source URL that allows you to access the repo, along with the corresponding.zip file that is added automatically from the source. If it’s been awhile since you last added a repo to your Kodi instance, or you need a refresher, just follow along below in our step-by-step guide to installing Kodisrael. Installing the Kodisrael Repo Start by opening up Kodi on the platform of your choice. If you haven’t already installed the app, it’s easy to download on a number of platforms, including Windows and Android, where it’s listed in the respective app stores for both platforms.

How to sync calendars in Outlook for Mac 2011. Information about syncing your calendar in Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011. Are connected to your. Dec 28, 2016 Outlook 2011 Mac cannot connect to Exchange. Outlook for Mac does *not* use ActiveSync, it uses Microsoft's EWS. Exchange email is all housed on the server, one should completely replace the existing Identity & newly configure Outlook for Mac & let the email sync. Sync Email across Devices Once upon a time, most people used a single computer for email. Your email client would connect to your email server, download all your messages onto the computer, and then delete them from the server. And that was fine because you used only one computing device, so where else would your email messages be? Nowadays, that approach seems quaint. Most of us use multiple devices to check our email, and we typically expect to see exactly the same messages—sorted into the same mailboxes and with the same status (read/unread, forwarded, replied to, or flagged)—on each one. ![]() If you always use a Web browser to check your email (for example, with a Gmail account), your email is stored only in the cloud—so syncing is irrelevant, and there’s nothing for you to see here. However, if you use a client app on OS X or iOS such as Apple Mail, Microsoft Outlook, or Thunderbird to check your mail, you’ll probably want to be sure you keep everything in sync. Even then, if you use IMAP, Exchange, and/or iCloud email accounts exclusively, you need do nothing more than confirm a few settings—these protocols are designed to keep everything in sync for you. If you use POP, you have a harder row to hoe. Sync Email with iCloud • Mac (Apple Mail): Go to System Preferences > iCloud. Make sure you’re signed in and Mail is selected. • iOS Device (Mail): Go to Settings > iCloud. Make sure you’re signed in and Mail is turned on. • Other IMAP Client: Go to the app’s account settings and either select an existing iCloud account or create a new account. Fill in your settings as described on. Sync Settings with iCloud iCloud can also sync other email-related data across Macs (only), as long as the appropriate checkbox in System Preferences > iCloud is selected: • iCloud Drive: Syncs email signatures, flag names, rules, and smart mailboxes. • Keychain: Syncs account settings (such as username, password, and server addresses) for all your accounts. Use Server-side Filters Mail, Outlook, and most other desktop email apps have built-in rules or filters that let you process incoming mail—for example, filing less-important messages into special mailboxes or sending automatic replies if certain criteria are met. But if you have the choice, I suggest setting up rules on your email server rather than in your client app. That way they can pre-sort email delivered to your iOS devices (which don’t have mail rules). ![]() And, you can switch clients or platforms without having to redo all your rules. If you use iCloud for email, log in to iCloud.com, select Mail, and from the gear menu, choose Preferences > Rules to set up rules. In Gmail, log in to your Gmail account (using or whichever URL you normally use if you have a Google Apps account with a custom domain). From the gear pop-up menu, choose Settings and then click Filters and Blocked Addresses. Many other mail servers also offer Web-based configuration of rules or filters; consult your email provider for details. Sync Email with Google First, make sure IMAP is enabled for your Google account: • Log in to your Gmail account (using or whichever URL you normally use if you have a Google Apps account with a custom domain). • From the gear pop-up menu, choose Settings, and then click Forwarding and POP/IMAP. • In the IMAP Access section, make sure Enable IMAP is selected. Leave other settings unchanged. Then set up the IMAP account in your email client of choice. Use your full Gmail address as the username and the following server addresses: • IMAP: imap.gmail.com • SMTP: smtp.gmail.com Sync Email with Exchange • Apple Mail (Mac): Go to System Preferences > Internet Accounts. If your account is not already listed, click Exchange and follow the prompts to configure it. Then check your email with Apple Mail. • Apple Mail (iOS): Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. ![]() DaedalusX64 is a Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows, Mac and PSP. The modular emulation program has quickly become the most popular emulation platform for macOS. It can run games from popular systems like NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, PlayStation, Game Boy,. Download ROMs It used to be that a number of websites offered freely available ROMs for download. As you can imagine, this wasn’t exactly kosher from a legal perspective. While this was once overlooked by companies owning the copyright of emulated games, publishers have become less lenient in recent years. As a result, major emulation sites have voluntarily shut down to avoid legal repercussions, removing a major resource for ROM downloads. However, ROMs can still be found in the same places you might pirate other copyrighted content. A number of torrent trackers include ROM downloads for a variety of systems, typically packaging hundreds of games together in one torrent. Note that ROMs themselves don’t care about your operating system. As far as the ROM is concerned, the emulator is the operating system. So don’t worry about finding macOS-compatible ROMs, since such a thing doesn’t exist. Play Retro Games on macOS Once you have the ROMs and emulators downloaded, you can actually play retro games on macOS. Depending on the system you’re using, there are a few different ways to launch your game. Launch a ROM from Finder If you try and double-click on a ROM file to open it, you might find that nothing happens. Some emulators will automatically assign the appropriate file extensions, while others will not. OpenEmu will automatically grab all the common ROM file extensions, so you can simply double-click on ROMs in Finder to launch the associated games. Apple is not a company interested in selling products that are easy to repair, and in the pursuit of thinness, repairability has clearly suffered. The MacBook range of laptops is increasingly shipping with soldered down parts, making it all but impossible to fix them without Apple's help when something goes wrong. However, for the refresh, it looks as though data recovery may have also been made much harder. As reports, both the 2016 and 2017 models of the MacBook Pro shipped with a data recovery port that could be accessed using a Customer Data Migration Tool by either the Apple Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Providers. It meant that, if the logic board failed in a Pro, the port could be used to recover data from the hopefully still functioning SSD. For the 2018 MacBook Pro range, the data recovery port has been removed and the SSD is soldered in place making it non-removable. Mastering Migration How to transfer your old Mac's data to your new Mac Thanks to Migration Assistant, moving your old Mac's data to your new Mac is as simple as can be. Apple has seemingly removed the ability to recover data from these new MacBook Pros when the logic board dies. Users are always encouraged to backup their data, but it's still nice to have a last chance option to recover any data that didn't get backed up yet. This no longer seems to be the case, and there's no obvious data recovery alternative available. The advice given in the 2018 MacBook Pro Service Readiness Guide is to encourage owners to use Time Machine frequently. You will need to update Firmware first Having just fitted a 840 pro SSD to my mac i would definitely advise updating the firmware on your SSD before putting any data on the SSD as the firmware update is a destructive update, by the way you will have to update the firmware by connecting the ssd to a windows machine via Samsungs Magician software and this connection will have to be made via a specific usb to sat 3 cable as a pose to via a caddy cable which has usb plugs on both ends, this lead is very important as the magician software will not recognise the ssd otherwise. Welcome to Wilder (again) WRC. Is anyone else on the privacy forums? Crickets chirping. You previously asked a question about firewalls and proxies, which I attempted to answer. Keep in mind that VPNs aren't considered proxies in the traditional sense, so the way I explained using firewalls with Tor wouldn't apply to a VPN. Let me know if you need assistance using a firewall with a VPN. It's considerably more complicated. But on the plus side, as long as the VPN is running, you don't need to worry about Flash, Java, etc. Those are all anonymized by the VPN. The only problem with VPNs is when they shut down unexpectedly. ![]() Then all of your traffic may be sent without any anonymization. Regarding the MAC address, it's not really something you have to worry about unless you're using a wi-fi hotspot that isn't yours. In that case, the hotspot may have records of your MAC address. If you're using your own router, then you don't have to worry about it. The website you visit does not get your MAC address. But it shouldn't hurt anything to spoof your MAC address if you want. Edit: Just to be clear, even when using a VPN at a wi-fi hotspot that isn't yours, if you don't spoof your MAC address, it still doesn't allow the website to get your MAC address or compromise your VPN in any way. If you don't spoof your MAC address, it only means that the hotspot may keep a record of your MAC address, and all they will see is an encrypted VPN connection. So, nothing should be compromised. They're requesting your MAC address because they're using MAC filtering to control access to the WiFi network. That does not in and of itself constitute the ability to see what you're doing when you're on the school's network, and certainly not when you're at home. If this is the only requirement, and they are not also requiring you to install things (monitoring software, root certificates) then it gives them no ability at all to see what happens when you're at home, or on any network other than theirs, and even on their network, they will only have the ability to see unencrypted traffic. @Xander is partly right. Documenting your MAC address allows them to do one (or more, or all) of a few things: • MAC Address Filtering The school may be using MAC address filtering to (try) to keep unauthorized devices off of the network. While this is easily bypassed, once an attacker knows an authorized address, it does make joining the network a bit more difficult than just hopping on with a shared/stolen password. • Rogue Device Monitoring Knowing the addresses for the devices they've approved to be on the network allows them to monitor and recognize when a non-approved device joins. • Activity Monitoring & Attribution Knowing which MAC addresses belong to whom allows the school to easily attribute malicious (or otherwise unapproved) activity to a device owner. Given that they probably also have contact information for you, this allows for corrective action to be taken, and/or notifications to be sent, without having to physically track the device down. Giving them you MAC address alone does not allow them to do any monitoring or control of your device when it is not connected to their network. Bill, I think a lot of us use an external drive to hold our music collections. Check into a networked drive as some computers and receivers can access them easily and quickly. Welcome to our pick of the best external hard drives for Macs. In this guide we'll look at the top external hard drives that offer quick and easy (as well as affordable) ways to expand the storage space of your Mac or MacBook. Macs, iMacs and especially MacBooks are notoriously difficult when it comes to upgrading the internal hard drives, which means if you're running out of storage space it's best to move some of your files onto a external hard drive, and in this list of the best external hard drives for Macs, we look at external drives that have been especially made for Apple MacBooks and Mac computers. This means they are all compatible with Apple's file system, and many make use of the range of high speed ports that Macs come with, such as Thunderbolt. We've also chosen these hard drives based on their ease of use, affordability and dependability. ![]() ![]() This last consideration is perhaps the most important, as when you're entrusting your important files to an external hard drive, you need to be confident that it won't break and lose your data. And on the sync client, when you select what folders to sync, you’ll see all the shared folders you’ve added.
